March brooches tutorial

Today I have a gift for you, it's a tutorial of March brooches (”mărțișoare” - in Romanian).
These brooches are a symbol of spring and are made as gifts on March 1st (usually the boys offer to girls these brooches).

"Rainbow drops" - quilled abstract frame

I really want to have more time for quilling, but I have to take the things as they are because I can't change them for now :(
I have the pleasure to show you my recent work. It's an abstract model that I designed myself. The dimensions are 40x40 cm, I used a white canvas and 3 mm paper strips in different colors. Initially I used a pencil and I drew the main circles using a compass. I needed approx. 100 hours to complete it. I hope you like it as much as I do...lol.
